It’s Official – Apple To Announce iPhone 5 on September 12

Here’s a good news for all Apple lovers. The company has just sent out invites to media people for an event that is going to take place at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center. People have been waiting for this event for a long time, but the wait is finally over. At the event, Apple is widely expected to launch the next generation iPhone that is likely to be named as iPhone 5. Though no one has any information about what the upcoming iPhone will be called.

The next generation iPhone is rumoured to have a bigger screen, smaller dock. But the exact details will be unveiled at the event which is just a week away. Apple has posted an image showing September 12th as the date and the number 5 as its shadow beneath the date. It will be huge event for Apple as it’s recently won a patent lawsuit against Samsung and expecting a record-breaking sales of the next generation iPhone.

Earlier, we have seen so many prototypes showing that the next iPhone would look like this and this. It’s likely that Apple will launch the iPhone with a bigger screen and slap all those companies in their faces who have been ruling the big screen smartphone market. Rumours also suggest that iPhone 5 would go on sale after nine days of the announce date i.e. September 21st.
